Next week i close on a house and 11 acres with a shop. The land is long and tree covered and backs into a large ranch. It seems much bigger than it is. Never the less i never thought a place this size was a possibility. Even has a stock tank with a good amount of water on it. Out there today and there were plenty of dove.

Nothing like owning your own place. You need to start a thread.

We have owned for a little over 4 years.

We have been there every weekend for that time except 1.

Congrats flywise. Nothing better than unlocking your gate and walking in and looking around.

Been going out there the last few days doing just that.
Lots of good places for 3d targets and a deer stand for my boy to hunt out of.
Id like to set up a 3d course to have folks over to shoot

Congrats! you are right about the work part, but most of the time it doesn't really feel like work! Except on those 100+degree days I won't lie, it feels a lot like work. lol
