What's your favorite sammich and from we're?

I Like them fancy bacon sammiches. I call it BTo (bacon, tomatoes, And onions) with a little mayo. When payday comes I might throw a piece of poor boy steak "bologna" with it just depends.

Man this made me go way, way back.

My first job was at Mayer's Grocery and Feed in Porter, Texas. (Incidentally, this place was my dad's first job too). A man name Hupie Green and his sweet wife, Barbara owned the place. When you went back to the meat market and told Mr. Green that you wanted a ham sandwich, he'd slice off 4-5 1/8" thick slices of ham, a couple of pieces of american cheese, Mrs. Baird's bread straight off the shelf, a tomato. lettuce and onion right out of the produce bins and cold, real mayo. Freshest, best cold sandwiches that I've ever had to this day.

Mayer's Grocery and Feed closed and was torn down many years ago, but my mouth just watered typing this, so you know it was good.
