Default Dallas Folks - Weather This Weekend?

I'll be doing a 50 mile urban land nav event starting Friday night at Trinity Overlook Park. NWS forecast shows 50% chance of rain Friday night and 70% chance for Saturday. What's the local weather folks up there saying?

Looks like I'll be getting comfortable being uncomfortable.

Friday night looks much better. Saturday evening is looking pretty likely to be wet. this particular storms seems to have an uncertain path. check out the NWS Ft Worth location for their forecast.

Dropped on request after 12 hours 30 minutes and 32 miles. Too much open country for the last 20 miles out on the mean streets of Irving with too much lightning for my comfort level. Iíll beat this 50 though. Maybe in March in San Antonio.

You probably made the wise decision. Lot of cloud-to-ground lightning in that area right now.

Great decision bud! No need to risking life or limb for this type of event.

Curious if it was mainly rucking or did it involve additional challenges??

All rucking, but we did have 15 waypoints we had to meet. So, route planning was critical.
