Default Transferring to Texas!

I put in for a transfer a while back ago to a plant that is being built near Corpus.
I was notified that I did in deed get accepted for my transfer.
This is going to be very rough for my family over the next year so all pray for us.

Before we welcome you with open arms....

1. Where are you moving from?

2. Are you gonna want Texas to change to be like wherever you are moving from?

3. Are you Republican or stupid (Democrat)?

4. Do you know what happened at the Alamo? Goliad? San Jacinto?

5. Do you think BBQ needs sauce?

6. Do you eat Texas Red Chili or do you put beans in it like a carpetbagging yankee?

No offense, but we have enough liberal idiots moving here and wanting to turn us into California or Colorado. We have to start a vetting process and youíre our guinea pig.

The plant is in Sinton but Corpus is the largest city near by.
I am from Indiana, I know about the battle of Palmito Ranch
I have been to the Alamo.
My chili had meat and beans.
I would love to see Texas get Lifetime license for personal protection.
I am a registered Republican.

That is a great spot to be in for fishing, dove, and duck hunting. Deer hunting can be pricey, but it is outstanding.

When is this expected move? The reason I ask? Coming from Indiana to Texas during certain times of the year could be traumatic, may want to do several hours per day sauna therapy to get acclimated! Never been to where your coming from worked with severa guys that made the move, all said the hardest part to get used to was the heat not going away in the evening and night.

Welcome to the greatest state in the union. Sinton is a great community. Not to big, but with more folks moving down for the same reason you are property prices are not dropping at all. Especially in that area. Sinton, Portland and Calallen are some pretty sought after areas. If you love fishing your in the right place. If you love to hunt prepare for sticker shot. Its can get pricey around here for a good quality lease. Public hunts are pretty much non existent unless you get lucky and draw out down south at LAWR or Aransas. The heat can be intolerable for people who are not acclimated so start preparing for that

I agree. This is how we do it in the reel south. If you don't put beans in your chile it's just chile con carne.

Interesting that you know about Palmito Ranch. Did they teach about it in school up there because the last man to die in the Civil War (a Yankee from Indiana) was in that Confederate victory?

Your vote can offset one from a California migrant.
