The majority of the country is realllly underestimating the talent LSU will still have this year. Some of it will be young talent but the D line and receivers will be sick. DB is loaded. 3 returning rb's that all played this year. LB and O Line are the biggest questions along with QB of course but Myles Brennan will be more than serviceable imo.

Theyíve won 8 plus games for the last 20 years. Theyíll be fine, but theyíre in a full rebuild now.

Like I said, they've won 8 plus games for the last 20 years. They're not going to fall off the table. But, I'll wager they won't compete for the SEC West title.

I think LSU and AU battle it out for the 2nd spot in the west this year and Bama and LSU battle it out to win the west in 2021.

BTW Kevin Steele the D Coord. for AU just became the highest paid assistant in the country at 2.5 million per year. Not bad for a D coordinator LSU fans hated and basically ran out of town. He's had some really good defenses the last few years at AU.

Pretty normal at LSU. Coaches either move up the chain or get hired at other colleges or pro-teams. Players go to the pros. But that's what its all about.

No, this is not normal attrition that goes on yearly or even every 3-5 years at LSU for coaches or players. Iím sure theyíll still impress come fall. Thanks for the humor.

LSU just had the greatest college football season of all time. And, the 2020 buzzards are already circling

Shrimp Boat Captain and Woody are doing their due diligence on hiring the best available "as Eaux said he would two years ago" and folks are already throwing in the towel on the National Champions.

All the coaches are visiting multiple schools today right before national signing day #2...right up until the dead period. It's what they do.

The attrition is normal for players.....not coaches. We routinely lose 6-11 players each year. This year we tend to be on the higher end but it is fairly normal for us unfortunately. Can't blame them though. If someone was dangling generational money in front of my nose, to the NFL I would go. Especially with a Natty in my back pocket.

Clemson won it all last year and has won 2 of the last 5 and been in the championship game 4 years. They kept the coaches intact and haven't lost that many underclassmen. They'll be back in it next year. Their 2020 class is ridiculous.

I think you LSU boys are telling yourselves this happens every year at LSU to make yourselves feel better. There will be a dropoff. I doubt they will repeat like the Bama's of the world or have a chance like Clemson did.

Sure they'll still be good but man they are losing alot.

As I already said, of course I would take a one and done for my team. Nothing wrong with that.

If Clemson continues with those schedules theyíll be in it foreverrrrrrr... i agree though thatís to many moving parts to gel instantly weíll be right back in it in short order. However Iíve learned to not underestimate coach o an his ability to rally the team every week

I saw this somewhere. SEC teams in bold so it must be one of their pages or sites. How in the world can they even rank the schedules 8 months before anyone plays?

I would bet a lot that if LSU was in the ACC this year they would be back in the playoffs even after everything they lost. The ACC and Clemson's entire schedule is a fricking joke. Yes Clemson is good but their conference is in a pathetic state at this time.

The ACC is down so their schedule is weak. SEC right up there with their joke schedules, 3 cupcakes and only 8 conference games. ACC & SEC are only 2 conferences that have been in the playoffs every year. They are also the only conference's that don't play 9 conference games. Get the FCS teams off the schedule and play 9 conference games and I'll get off my soapbox. Until then it's not apples to apples.

Lol please. Let me know when your team plays Alabama, Florida, auburn and texas( ooc) the same year. Whatís easier beating a slough of teams ranked 21-40 or 3-4 teams in the top 15? The sec has teams in The playoffs every year bc it is the best conference period. Itís not even debatable at the moment. The big 10 would be 2nd best but even they truly on have Ohio st that can compete for a title. And how would 9 conference games make LSUís schedule harder? Lsu plays a pretty good ooc team almost every year that would rank mid to upper half of the sec so thatís a wash.

I hear ya. Losing seniors is normal attrition (albeit, one won the Heisman), LSU lost 11 or maybe it was 10 juniors once in the last 20 years. Itís typically only around 3 which most good programs that win a minimum of 8 games a year will lose and they went 8-5 after losing that group.

Havenít they lost 9-10 Juniors plus the typical senior attrition.

The coaches are whom Iím really getting at, but as a whole, itís one of the wildest exodus Iíve witnessed while following CFB.

Texas played Oklahoma, LSU, Baylor......by rankings that's close. They only lacked the 4th quality opponent. Those cream puff games in the 4 OOC games hurts the SEC schedule ranks. Slive set the SEC up for success. That said the SEC is the best conference. Just not by as wide of a margin as y'all think.
