All this chili blasphemy talk made me hangry. I present to you the Frito Pie Bar. The chili is a Terlingua championship recipe of Texas Red. Notice no beans in the chili. I could add them to my bar but NOPE.

I grabbed a few frozen tamales out of the freezer, nuked them and then covered in chili and cheese and back in microwave for a bit. Onions and cilantro on top, heck of a lunch! It is chili weather for sure!!

Just a certain style of chili that is most common in Texas. Made with lots of red chili powder and tomatoes making it bright red instead of brown like most chili.

Kind of like Cincinnati chili is its own thing.
