GOT 'EM DONE! Last year i sold a home, bought a car, worked full time plus part time self-employed, paid lots of interest, Lost some money in the market/options, donated some things, carried losses from 2015, yada yada yada... I was able to deduct a lot off my tax bill and will get a few bucks back, which will go towards saving for down payment on a house!

How are you fellas and ladies on the Green Screen coming along on your taxes?

Haven't started yet, but this is my first year of receiving distributions from my IRA so I'll be sitting down with my guy and reviewing things before I start.

Not looking forward to paying taxes. Owed $12,500 last year on top of the crap pile we had already paid throughout the year.

Holy crap, I'm getting $1500 back and that's the most I've ever gotten back.

I didn't have my withholding adjusted after marriage and kids for a bit and that plus paying a butt load in taxes created that.
