My bad: Didn't read you are looking for a two blade. Still like the Bugout though.
      Bugout weights nothing.

Case knives are nice but if you want the best production slipjoint on the market (that’s not a custom) take a hard look at Great Eastern Cutlery knives.

I it all depends on what type steel you like
Case is tru sharp = 420Hc
            Eastern cutlery = 1095 carbon
            Hen & roster = Au 8 SS

Nothing wrong with these steels ss or Hc easy sharpening stuff priced good

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I just ordered a Case pocket worn mini trapper.

I looked real hard at these. I wanted a "mini trapper" size and all I found was the regular size trapper. I think one of these may be in my future though. Love the old beer barrel handles.

They are good knives indeed. I got one for my dad last Christmas.

I really like my Case Trapper. I have two sheaths for it. One sits vertical on my belt and the other one sits horizontal.

For high school graduation my grandma’s friend gave me a
Case trapper Damascus blade with ivory blanks
And some jerk stole it when I was guiding them for quail during a snack break
Would love to replace it if I can even find one

Buck Stockman. That short blade, I've used to trim show goat hooves to many times to count and it's still razor sharp. My son got one from his grandpa as his first pocketknife. I'm always borrowing it.

It's 6.5 means bone stag scales. The 25 is for pattern 25.

If you look at the tang stamp, you can tell what year it was made.

                            allaboutpocketknives.com is a good source.
