Bacsik is great baseball talk. Bob and Dan are also really good when they get to dive in. Bass and Ty do a great job in my opinion. Very good follows when it comes to the little Rangers.

I thought Ben and skin were going full time with their brewery?

Here's the problem. This station isn't nor has it ever been a plug and play station (see skip and dale to name a few).

Sports talk is everywhere, but there is and will always only be one The Ticket, and Mike had the vision for that. Now that hes gone and as the musers get closer to retirement, it's just going to be a slow decline into sports talk mediocrity, like every other sports tv/radio station. Spare sports talk.

Enjoy the old guard while they last. Now I'm going to get nervous every year at dry dock....

They are, but there is a team in place. They are a part of ownership. Rollertown.

I disagree a little bit - There is a whole generation of kids that grew up with this and absolutely love / thrive on it.

Will it be the same, absolutely not. I dont believe it will be generic sports talk though.

Bob gives me tired head. Very well versed in sports. But he interrupts Dan constantly, and his questions ramble on and on and on.... it's like he wants everyone to know he's the smartest man in the room. jmo

The first time I ever turned on the ticket I was probably 18 or 19 and Rocco was on. I was addicted to sports back then so I listened and rolled on into the Hardline and was hooked ever since. He was a beatdown to listen too, here is the infamous interview that did him in...if you have 30mins to spare...

Man that was a long time ago but I remember specifically where I was when it happened. I was out running Saturday morning errands and when Rocco called in I just sat in the Home Depot parking lot listening to Gordo masterfully lead Rocco to the gallows

Gordo is a master of twisting people up. Easily the most talented person at the Ticket.

Bob and Dan are hard to listen to. Both have that northern accent, and Dan with his forward lower jaw **** near whistles every other word between his teeth...not to mention the tone of his voice when he gets going. Itís not radio speaker friendly to me. They both sound like they should be in a cartoon.

My .02

Mike will be missed.
Corby is a hippie ******missle.
I don'y mind Danny.
Bob and Dan bore me. I can't stand Dan's voice.
Jake is great and I enjoy more of him and Julie lately.
I like Donovan but can only take so much of Norm anymore.

They are my favorite show haha... Their open is the best 2mins of the day.... Well that and the last 2mins of Norm and Donovan

Never thought it would happen but I tend to find myself on the fan after 3pm. Really don't like Jake going to the Hardline.

It will be interesting to see how they reshuffle. Remember that their target demo is men 18-54. My guess is they will try to grow the lower half/middle of that age group at the risk of alienating us older listeners. That makes sense as a long term strategy. Some of the younger up-and-coming hosts are talented sports broadcasters but when they move away from sports topics I don't get their cultural references. (I get it -I'm old!) I will probably find myself listening less as time goes on. Norm is a legend but I have had enough of him.

My favorite in order.

1. The Musers
2. Bad Radio
3. Hardline
4. The invasion

If any of these shows talk basketball, soccer, hockey or winter baseball I’m out and find something else and pray it’s on The Fan. It’s all horrible.

Aside from 9/11 coverage, maybe the most riveting 30 minutes ever aired on The Little Ticket.

It is. He works for The Well Creative, which is owned by the Ticket's own Cash Sirois. They do a lot of work with the Mavericks, among many other entities in Dallas.

And have been forever along with many others. Remember how stupid they made Russ Martin look before they changed formats to duplicate the Ticket?

I know everything is an acquired taste but I do not see how you guys tolerate the fan. Even as annoying as Corby can be I would switch to Pandora before that.

Davey was on this afternoon. I think maybe Jake as well. I could get behind a show w/ a Davey / Jake combo. Those two might even offset Corby. Wishful thinking.

Their ratings would suggest the Fan is getting a good following. They were a breath of fresh real sports talk air to me compared to liberal yuk monkey Corby and the other Hardliners....Mike was the only one tolerable for me. I just got burned out. I had my fill of the Hardline style after 20 plus years. Still like the Musers and the Bob 1/2 of Bad Radio.

Jeff Cavanaugh from the Fan is really good, and I enjoy Bacsicís insight on baseball. I wish Cavanaugh would come over to the ticket, Norm would retire, and Corby would just go tf away....god but heís awful.

Enjoyed listening to hardline until Corby was forced into a sports guy role when Greggo was fired. Corby went from trying to be the Hardlineís version of Gordon to a ďsports enthusiast ď overnight. Heís awful. Boycotted the show because of his liberal splatter. I remember when he was Chris Arnoldís movie critic boy back in the 90s. Truly hate to see Mike go, hard to imagine really. He loved the great game and the Little Rangers and I enjoyed his insight.

Yep. Cavanaugh is good. He cracks me up. I think enough people will get tired of listening to Gavin Dawson eventually. Maybe JC will make a move. Who knows.

It would be cool if the OGW did a weekly podcast.

This will make the hardline tolerable for me for a little longer, but I like Bob, and I realize a lot of you don't. I like Jake as well, and I'm happy he's getting his shot.

Just need Norm to retire, and Corby to get fired so they can steal Cavanaugh to go with Bob.

Corby is still the worst thing on the ticket since TC left.

I'm only for Sturm if he will beat the crap out of Corby and Danny.
I can't stand to listen to Sturm and his rambling questions and talking over people. They took my two least favorite people there and made a show. Awesome. It's like a crappy version of the odd couple... Musers only for me now. They are the best show there and it's not even close.

I think this is good.

I have favorites and yall have favorites but the thing that makes the ticket unique is that everyone at the ticket are close friends and love working together. As long as that's the case, no one can produce anything remotely close to the greatness

I liked BAD Radio when I was a listener. BoB and his sports acumen plus some added hockey talk was always a good listen. Sadly, poor BoB downgraded yuk monkeys in my opinion.
