    White Oak Acorns, seeing any?

Strange year. Checked nearly 100 trees Oct 2 and Nov 2. Found one green acorn each time. Has anyone found white oak acorns. Very rare in my area in Angelina NF to not find at least one tree producing.

Not many acorns in North Central Louisiana. Our 4 White oaks in the front yard are not producing this year pretty much the same in the bottoms. Few red and post not not much of a crop. Deer have been in the food plots like.crazy since early October. We usually don't see that until the acorns are gone or get soured by flooding.

Usually here in Newton, they start dropping in late August all the way through November. First time in decades we haven't had a White Oak Acorn crop. Got a few Red Oaks dropping.

Very few this year. Had a bumper crop of them last year on our place!
