    Planting trees and protecting them

About to plant around 20 fruit trees.
Any ideas on what I should do to protect them from deer and cows?

Culvert pipe or pvc..for barefoot trees. Bucket trees I would use the concrete steel mesh fence stuff. Make it pretty decent size and use rebar or t-post to anchor.

I actually bought the tubes and stakes from wildlife group and got the bareroot trees. Do you think I need some sort of cattle panels around them or will the tubes suffice?
I wouldn't want the deer or cows to eat all the leaves...

If you have cattle I would put a fence around them

We protect all our trees with one 16'x4' cattle panel wire in a circle and held in place with cedar or t post, then if the tree trunk is smaller than a pencil in diameter we will use a circle of chicken wire to protect from rabbits. The cattle panels also helps in the heat of the summer to hang tin or shade cloth to protect from harsh midday and evening sun.

I had trouble with hogs rubbing my tubes and one buck knocking them completely over. I set them back up a couple times before he left them alone.
