    Best Binoculars < $600

Looking at the Cabelas Euro HD 10x32 made by Meopta, which are on sale now.

    Any others?

I can't speak to the ones you are looking at, but my dad got me the Leupold BX-2 Cascade 10x42s last year for Christmas and they are nice! I think they run about $300 and I have used them hunting pronghorn and mulies up in the panhandle. I give them two thumbs up!

With that magnification and objective, I wouldn't expect good performance in low light conditions.

      I would recommend 8-10x42-50. I have the Cabela's Euro 10x50 and pleased.

Nikon Monarchs seem to be a pretty decent binocular for less than your price.

If you are considering spending up to $600 or close, you will find a much better performing binocular than the 10x32 you mentioned, completely because of the magnification to objective ratio.

        Thanks for the sound advise.

I looked at a bunch of different binoculars before making my decision. Really wasn't on a budget other than Leica, Zeiss, Swarovski, etc. were out of the question. What I liked the best were a pair of Bushnell Legend Ultra HD which I think run around $300.

Look at Zen-Ray. Chinese made but very good quality.

Vortex Viper is the best choice under $600.

Leupold MX-4 Pro Guide 10x42. I did a lot of research and these are what I went with.

I second the Maven comment. I just bought a pair C.1 10x42. very well built binoculars and are clearer than my vortex diamondbacks.
