My setup. I use a sump pump and hose, ran off an inverter hooked up to my truck battery. I pump water into big holding tank from water tote. It’s time consuming, but it’s all I got. 1,000 gallons last about 4 weeks, but I’m in Deep South Texas and it gets really hot.

Not to hijack this thread, but has anyone ever placed some sort of water pump in the water trough to prevent mosquito hatches and keep water cooler?

You got it going on. Sweet setup. Looks to be 1-2 weeks on my 350 gallon tote and there’s no way I can keep up with that usage. I’ll either go with something like this or just not do a water station all together.

I'm bring this back up for "Smart" I have a set-up like yours but I'm wanting to put a second tote for the same reason. How do you have yours tied together with the washing machine hose? Thanks for any help!
