AirForce Texan .257 puts sow down!

Finally got to get out and do some social distancing in the pig blind. This sow has already busted Jason the other day so she was on the hit list at the top. Went out today to see if I could catch them in the food plot causing damage but the rain had me change my plans. Went and replaced batteries at my main pig spot and then pulled up to the front spot to check the camera. Had pigs coming in but not on a regular basis. Since it was raining I decided to stay up front and see what would happen. Got set up in the blind with my Texan .257 and decided to put earbuds in to listen to Neal McCoy live/online concert. After about 30 minutes of having a good time the bacon bits busted in like they owned the place. Had about 15 bacon bits, 2 decent boars and a couple of sows come in. This one finally moved away from the rest and I placed a 70 grain slug right behind her ear at about 40 yds. She never knew what hit her. Baby factory was down. Everything scattered but did have one come back in looking around. Didn’t give me a great shot but did roll it and it got up and took off in the trees. Could not locate that one. This is the first one for me of 2020. Many more to go.

If I get Tapatalk to work I will get the pic put up.

Airguns and pigs are a match made in heaven. Great job.

          They are hell on pigs.

Got a new to me Texan LSS .457 being set up for pigs now. The Wraith is mounted, just need time to sight it in.

Same setup that I took my Catalina Goat with and even same slug. Hopefully the video comes out on the tactacam. This gun will reach out aways when needed. I’m still trying to get use to it’s capabilities and getting the right slug for it. It should be shooting about a 1 inch group at a 100yds when I get everything set right.
