How many deer are and going to be shot out of season this year?

I'm sure there is going to be a healthy bump in this. Already heard my neighbor talking about it, not working is the main reason, idle hands are the devils you know what but he's convinced himself he needs to do it for food

I am gambling very few additional deer will be shot out of season than normally are. I believe there will be some that convince their self's they need to do so to supply meat for their family. But for the most part, I bet its minimal.

Not sure why I think this way, but I do.

If this was happening in November, I’d say a whole lot. I don’t think many will right now unless we actually start having to stand in line for food.

if it were to come down to it and having to feed my family I would have no problem shooting a doe for meat.

Can we get graph of the projected peak of deer poaching? What can we do to flatten the poaching curve?

Our landowner in the hill country would shoot a deer when they needed meat. In or out of season. They were old Germans and lived off the land. I know they shot some for needy families in town. So how is now different?

Who cares, without the eradication of screw worms, we wouldn't have the population we do today.

I doubt they get on public forums to boast about it.
