I would have thought it woulda been uglier against Lamar, in a good way.

But if a slow build is what it takes to get back where they want to be, Iím here for all of it!

Boise probly all wear blue gloves, step on the chalk, and take turns trying on the catchers mitt....eff a school with a blue field.

16-0 in the 2nd with no outs. Prairie View is on their 4th pitcher of the evening. They have thrown around 90 pitches in two innings.

Itís Boise first year with a team. Know a kid that went to play baseball there named Cole Posey. Solid middle infielder. Itís is their first year with a program so I would imagine they are learning a lot

Good start for my Ole Miss Rebels. Knocked off #1 Louisville 2 of 3 over the weekend and then won tonight’s midweek game with walk off HR. Should be another fun season at Swayze Field. Hotty Toddy!

My son and I were watching the first one, he said "dad, where did it go?"

I notice that next one didn't get much over head high...Snoop (son) was yelling "shoot him down four four, shoot him down!" Fish did a great job covering the plate too, We got a kick out of it.

You guys keep it rollin, bunch of us here will be tuned in. We can't wait to get down there for Fri and Sat against the frogs for Snoop's birthday. Thanks for checkin in man...cool stuff. Hook'em!

I am super excited about this team! I have a good feeling about this season!

I am going to get the boy out to a few games this year and bring his buddies with us. They were Iron Spikes while at Texas and he is old enough to buy my tickets and popcorn!

He owes me that much!

Ragin Cajuns had a lot of hype coming into the season and I bought in to what Matt Deggs pumped out on the radio several times. I know its early but a 1-4 start is pretty disappointing considering the competition they have played not to mention they look to have the same hitting woes they've had the last several years.

Just bought our tickets for the Longhorn/Aggie game! My youngest is in grad school at TAMU and the oldest is going to drive up from Houston for the game. I'm pretty psyched.

We plan to turn right around and come back to CStat for the Friday game against Georgia before heading on to Austin on Saturday. We like to run the Capital 10K and try to catch a ball game but, Texas is on the road this year.

Yep, Paul Mainieri always shifts the lineup around so much the first 10 games or so of the year you never know how they will play together on a given night but its still pretty inexcusable to lose to Nicholls st. ever. I never have and never will be a fan of Paul Mainieri. If the pitching staff stays healthy for a change their weekend starters are pretty dang good but like the last few years they virtually have 3 bats in the lineup that are pretty much automatic outs. Those guys play really good defense though but that is why Mainieri is tinkering with the lineup so much right now. Guess he's just trying to find some middle ground with a few guys who can at least hit around .250 and play better than average D.

Coach Tadlock has made several comments over the past few months about the concern being run production. That hasn't been an issue so far. Always knew that we would have a top end pitching staff this year and that we would be a very good team. The ability to plate runs is what could turn this team from very good to freaking scary.

What sucks is that we have one of the fastest guys in D-1 baseball and he can't freaking hit the ball. Everyone else was raking and he just can't see it. Marusak may end up being relegated to nothing more than pinch running late.

In this case, I was talking about my bride's alma mater Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.

But Texas Tech appears to be very salty as well.

Apparently Boiseís baseball program is double dipping, they appear to have the right guard playing 1st base.

Tech lost last night 6-2 to a really good Tennessee team. We left way to many men on base by trying to bash our way to victory instead of just hitting them where they aren't. Freshman mentality showing through. Today we get to go on to a very good Stanford club fresh off of a 11-4 loss. We will see how the guys react. This tourney is an awesome way to jump start the season.
