By the way, I'm going to make 10 gallons of home brew beer for this event teammates!

1 is going to be a Dos Equis Style Lager

Which other Flavor?

Bock
Chocolate Bock
Stout
Amber Bock
Red Lager
Rice Beer (Like Tsing Tao)

Leaning toward the Red Lager or Rice Beer for the second one.

Put me down for my super sized cutting board. What kind of sausage do yall want this year?

I'm planning on doing 3 flavors.

For sure these two.
Jalapeno and 3 cheese
Original Garlic

Which last one? Pick one of the following.

Apple
Smoked Chorizo with Monterrey Jack
Chili, Cheddar, Onion
Super Spicy (I mean light you up like Christmas Spicy)
Sauerkraut and Potato German Sausage
Old Fashion Brats

I'm leaning toward Brats, Chorizo and Monterrey Jack, or Sauerkraut and Potato German Sausage.

Yo Berg,

Red Lager, that changed my when I had it in Ireland for the first time.
And I am having a split decision between sausage, but I think the Smoked Chorizo and Monterrey Jack sounds pretty legit.

This is going to be a good year.

Now lets talk about pink shirts.....

I agree with hill on the smoked chorizo and monterrey jack cheese sausage and any of the beers would be new for me so whatever the rest of the team wants.

Amber,blue,red,pink, so many color choices.

Bruce, do you think we should go with a brown chipmunk for team pig this year, or just the standard black piglet?

Black might be better if we go with pink shirts.

Considering last year, Boudie III will probably be the first available, appropriately sized candidate, regardless of color.

We need to add Louisiana Hot Sauce.

Bruce and Team,

Is anyone else bringing boudin? If any of our Louisiana Team members want to bring some of the Authentic real deal, go ahead! Dont let me bringing boudin discourage anyone from participating!

Patek,

Dont be scared of the pink!

Anyone want to throw in a couple extra bucks for Breast Cancer Awareness on the shirts??

If yall want it to be a seperate shirt, I could understand that. Not wanting to change anything about the original team shirt it fine with me, too.

What we can do is everyone put in some extra money and we can put the ribbons design on the front under the team boo-dan logo.

i am all about breast cancer awareness and raising awareness, but dont yall think a donation from team boodan would be allot more helpful than putting ribbons on our shirts? we could just have pink shirts for breast cancer awareness and get together a small amount of money to make a donation. just my 2 cents. i dont care either way, i just think the money could be better spent on donations rather than a symbol...

What i meant was just put the ribbon in the design and then take the money that people send and make a donation with that money.

I have to agree with Michael, we need to find something less p0rnographic. Let's do something different guys. Something more PG especially if we're doing a donation deal with these.

I still love the front shirt logo. How to incorporate the breast cancer awareness deal???

I'm kind of digging the idea of a pocket......Maybe.

Not trying to tap the breaks, but in my opinion, we should donate something locally to BCS, or to a hunting foundation. I think we would have a bigger impact to a "smaller" organization

What about these for another option:

Hunters for the Hungry
Brazos Valley food bank, (since bownanza is in BCS)
Camp for All, another charity in the Brazos Valley, read about it here

Again, not trying to throw out the idea, I just think we will be more successful in supporting locally or a charity with a common interst to the people at Nanza....

Hilli, great idea, you can put 2 "tip" jars out, 1 nfor BCR and 1 for which other 1 you think can use the help......you can be incharge of these....you may be amazed at the TBH open pockets!

I would gladly put this together.

Again, I'm not trying to sound like I don't want to give, or help a charity. But I think we should all pick one charity to support, and give all contributions to it.
It would be unfair to ask people to give to 2 charities, and it would be unfair of use to have to split money, or give more to one than the other.

Personally I think it will do some good to support in Texas.

Again, I am not trying to shoot down breast cancer awareness, or raising money for it. But I think, in this case, if we supported Hunters for the Hungry we would be very successful at Nanza...

EDIT:
But we could also just take donations for BCR like originally stated.
It is up to the group. But I fully believe that we should just support 1, supporting 2 could get messy.

My vote is for Hunters for the Hungry

I will wait to hear what the team says and make it happen.

Which ever we choose, we don't have to alter the shirt that much, all we would have to do is put the logo on the shirt sleeve.
It doesn't have to alter the entire shirt.

I'm in...

Blake,
I saw this pic and could only think of you with your entire forearm in the gumbo. That's pretty sad... Is there another way to duplicate that flavor?

By the way, we still stickin' to the plan for doin' just 1 gumbo this year? bwssr and I were talkin' 'bout having all the ingredients premeasured, prepared and packaged rather than doin' it there. Yes? No? Maybe? Also, we really enjoyed the andouille sausage in the gumbo last year, but man, there sure was a butt-load of grease to spoon off; what do you think about using venison sausage instead?

I've got the recipe that we used last year. You want me to send it to you for you review and recommendations?

Don
