    Austin county buck

    Let's see em!

    I bought this small tract in May. Haven't had much time to get a feeder up but did throw some hand corn out a couple of times. Not the best pic, but looks like a pretty decent buck trying to survive in a fairly populated area. Hopefully he makes it another year so I can get better pics. His hocks are black and he appears to be big bodied and chocolate horned. Not sure I'll ever shoot a deer here as it will be my primary residence, but you never know. My kids However may eventually get to shoot an old one or a cull.

    That’s a beautiful buck. Those residential deer really know how to live a long safe life. Congrats on the property.

            Very nice buck. Your place is around Bellville, right? I thought I remember seeing something about it on another thread.

              Yes, and this buck unfortunately has been killed. I guess the neighbor knew about him.

                Deer like that won't last long in that county if walking around. He was a nice one.
