Last year I had a booster pump freeze and crack as well as well pipes. I thought the heat lamp would suffice as it had done for 20 years.
Well, the pipes and pump are in a 10x12 storage shed. Heat lamp just couldn't keep the area heated.
This year I am gonna frame up the back of the shed and put some foam board up to effectively make a small pump house within the shed.
My question is... I want to get a temperature triggered outlet that will come on at say 35 degrees and kick off at 50. I figure to put in a small ceramic heater. If the power goes out, I'll use a genreator or Mr. buddy propane heater.
this is what I have seen.
What do y'all use in this situation?
