Got the email yesterday that I had drawn for exotic at Caprock Canyon Dec 14-17. Second time to draw this hunt in 10 years. Looking forward to it as it is a cool place for sure. Just hope this time I see more aoudad than hogs...

Congrats! One of my favorite places on earth. I grew up in Tulia, and we used to run cattle (and hunt) on a ranch not far from there. Love those canyons. Good luck!Comment

Looking forward to that hunt. I've never been up there before and will start doing some onxmap Scouting. My brother and I will be up there that week.

I hear its a great hunt. My boy was drawn for the youth hunt there so if you could tie up one of those big mule deer, I would greatly appreciate it!

That’s an excellent state park, we really enjoyed our visit there last year.
Only saw the buffalo/ bison in the park- but obviously there is wildlife there if they are hosting a hunt.
