How long can used peanut oil be stored?

Found this thread on reusing peanut oil but it didn’t address how long it can stored?

Six months tops. It will start stinking when it’s no good.

You can store it for quite a length of time if you filter it real good after frying with it. If you don't filter out all meal and impurities then it will go bad quickly.

How long if it was filtered and kept in the refrigerator?

Ate fish last night from oil that was over 2 years old that has been put up filtered in a fridge. Oil was fine and fish was great.

I've never refrigerated mine, should I be. Never had any issues.

Not sure but I would imagine the fridge helps preserve longer as the oil will congeal
