With all the rain and no cows to eat it down there is all kinds of stuff coming up at the lease we haven’t seen before. For example these big clumps have come up all over in a creek bottom pasture - 4-5 feet across and about that high. What is it?

From that picture it looks like switch grass. Great native grass to have on a place.

Funny what a little grazing deferment/management will do...

Probably some big bluestem and yellow Indian grass around too. Place is transitioning back to a native prairie due to the lack of constant grazing.
