I was in my backyard one Saturday, around 7:30 in morning, practicing my arrow flinging. Suddenly heard tires squeal, and a car rounded the corner a block down, and ran over a fire hydrant. Sounded like a shotgun went off! I peeked over our wooden privacy fence and he was headed right for our yard. I ran for it!!! Thankfully for us, he hit the telephone pole in the corner of our backyard before he came through the fence. There was a young lady in the backseat, no seatbelt of course. The impact broke her hip. Wife called 911. Police carted the two boys in the vehicle off to jail. They had been partying all night a few blocks down the street.

I am grateful that your family was unharmed. Of course the hassle And frustration is there, but praise God that it wasn’t worse.
