Friends son, DPS trooper in gun fight yesterday

One of my friends son, from Mountain Home who is a DPS Trooper was involved in a gun fight yesterday in Junction while pulling a vehicle over. He is OK. Close one. Hats off to you LE guys. Don't know how you do it everyday.

I was wondering how long it was going to be til this made it up here. The trooper is a good buddy of mine and Trophy8. He was a little rattled I do believe, but he was calm in his reaction it seems. He was close enough he had powder burns on the side of his face.

The suspect had murdered at least 2 people in El Paso within the last 24 hours of the showdown. Possibly a 3rd.
