Killed this deer in Karnes County. Owner has been seeing him since the season started and he finally showed up at the feeder yesterday. Tough sucker. Took a round right through the nose. Sorry for the pic. I know it's a little gory. But these are the ones to cull and when you see them.

I think majority of the time it's an injury. Bumped it in velvet and caused it to make that dip. Would love to see live pics or body pics of that buck

It's always best to shoot a deer in the head if you want a euro mount .
