Sits on the ground. Hence the skids.
The area we hunt an elevated box blind would leave you with a blocked view in most places.

Evening progress. All the studs/braces in. I have four little 9” pieces to put in the front window frames and then it’s pretty much windows, outter skin and finishing.

Threw together a door finally. Went with 2x2’s then on the inside made a trim with the same 2x2’s to help give it a relatively sealed look and feel.

Little update. Turned the wife loose with a paint brush and roller. The inside I told her just find something relatively dark at the “oops” section at the paint isle in Lowe’s. $9.00 ain’t bad for a gallon.
Added a few hooks and rifle holders also.
The deer antlers came from a family members long abandoned camp that we cleaned out a few weeks back before the cabin was torn down.
Windows are also mounted. Still need to get some pics of those.
