The wife is officially an American

Met my wife to be in the Philippines when I went to visit my Dad when he was working there. We have been together for 33 years here in America. Today she announced that it was too ****ed hot to work outside (in 95 deg, 60% humidity, not quite as humid as the Philippines). So we went fishing! She is now, officially, an American and a Texan!

PS: 5 flounder and 15 crabs in East Union Bayou And stuff outta the garden. Traditional Filipino dinner tonight! And she got to take a nap on the way home!

That’s awesome! I sure miss some good lumpia. Hadn’t had any since around 1994. Have fun!

HA! You beat me to it. I grew up on the west side of Washington State around a bunch of Filipinos. Man I miss lumpia.
