2021 Salty H20 Fishing Thread!

Some friends rented a house on the river in Matagorda for the weekend and invited us to hang out. We fished East Matty this morning for a couple of hours before the wind kicked up. Lots of bait but no water movement ahead of the front. The girls caught a couple of undersized reds on shrimp, but otherwise slow.

I haven’t seen any of the chicks in bikinis, yet. I’m starting to think that may be false advertising.

Here's a pic of the rooster tail for proof. Had my little girl out last night! Night off from kids tonight. Gonna bring a nice single mom out this afternoon. Hopefully the rooster tail works, if not I'll fall back on the stache.

Thanks for picking up the slack. I was busy catching catfish, cooking fish and drinking beer yesterday.
