ok, turned off all the lights, and camoed up the case. Next issue battery life. Just nailed a good 9point, but no reverse angle because the battery was dead. Went to Best Buy and the Gopro rep was there. Showed me the extended battery and I said that at $20 that was a good price - he said mismarked, but the BB guy honored it. Next weekend we will see how long it will go and hopefully get the reverse shot. BTW, I will post the vid of the 9 point when I get it edited. It is great fun. Lighted rage to the heart.

As you can see in the video above, I had good luck clamping it to the feeder leg/stake/barrel. I also have a little piece of mesquite that I put a hanger bolt into that lets me set it on the ground. Here are some pics of that setup.
I could have shot this deer several times as he stayed in range, ignoring the GoPro.
Some footage from the GoPro:

If you look just in front of this buck's leg at the start of this clip, you can barely see the GoPro obscured by the limb. Sure wish I would have shot this dude in front of it!

I bought some domino sized magnets from kjmagnetics.com that I stuck to the sticky mounts for the GoPro. I can then hang it on a feeder leg, barrel or whatever. It works great.
