    East Texas Deer Leases

It's something new to me, what is yalls experience with a big lease with 50 plus people on it. Big meaning close to 15000 ACRES. I know the hunting is different to what I'm use too. Just not accustomed to the number hunters.

I've been hunting Alabama Creek WMA which consists of 14k acres and that seems pretty crowded with the six trailer campers and 15 tent campers I've seen this weekend. Ot to say it can't be good just know with the extra pressure you'll have some issues.

We have 10 on 3000ac in Red River County and it isn’t crowded at all. Multiply 3000ac by 5 to get 15,000ac and multiply our 10 people by 5 and you end up with the same thing. The problem is getting 50 people without some of them being jack wagons.

Not really when you do the math on acres per Hunter. I've never hunted East Texas and I do know its common and was asking for anyone's experiences with it.

Well, for a E Tx lease that sounds real good, even better if its Archery only.

I hunt an archery only lease 1550 acres, 10 hunters

300 acres per member is not crowded at all for east tx. What part of east tx?

It all depends how the 15,000 acres is broken up and where the deer are on those 15,000 acres.

Anyone that tells you 50 hunters on 15k in east tx is overcrowded has no idea what they are talking about.

15 k here ain’t like out west, it will hunt HUGE
