443 yards whitetail doe in Montana. 30 years ago with my Savage 99 in .243. PMC ammo, which back then PMC was just reloading mixed head stamped brass and we bought it by the case.

My first intro to true long range was 2 years ago at a friends range in Texas. I shot a 2.5", 3 shot group at 1060 yards with a borrowed 6.5 x .284.

Does it have to be the actual animal you where aiming at? Little over 475 on a group of pigs in a sendero. Hit the pig standing next to the one I was aiming at from a top drive with 6 other people. Everyone got really excited so waited until that evening to break the news. Missed a large management 8 two weeks ago at 425 so need to get back to the range.

330 yards on a Oryx with my 7 Mag Sendero and 140 gr Winchester fail safe. For deer maybe 200ish. Never shot over 300 yards at a range and shoot 100 yards mostly. I'd love to get into the long/mid range stuff, but don't have the optics to do it. At least I don't think I do. LOL Good stuff guys!
