Shakey snake came close

I was out today changing out some cameras took off the old camera and put up a different one as I was cleaning up the access strap for that camera I was tying that strap around the T post as I tied the last knot here came this rattlesnake jumping out of the weeds trying to get me my hand he was just a few inches away from striking my hand thankfully it was a fairly cool day and he was in pretty thick weeds so his strike did not quite reach my hand and the cooler weather makes them weaker I believe

sounds crazy i know but in west texas we are in the 80's mid day right now and the snakes are already on the roads at night to stay warm
