Ain't no fox. Looks like domestic dog to me except for the tail. I'm going with coyote.

So far all the coyotes I've seen here on the river bank have been far bigger than my 55lb cur dog. Neighbor tells me that they get rowdy in the fall and will come right up to the house taunting his dogs.
I might be in the market for one of those suped-up air rifles soon. I can legally go down to the river bank and shoot but I'd rather do it from my porch. 105 yards to that pup btw. Daughter has an awesome sony camera with a great zoom.
