Doesn’t really answer your question, but as far as country goes, The Kruger Brothers (a Bluegrass band originally from Switzerland) are in my top all time favorite bands. They have some great songs

Ah, YES. One of my favorites. Ever since I saw the movie I catch myself singing Edelweiss at my desk...all the time...usually too loud!

As expected, our resident music aficionado, BoB popped up with 10. The best you other yahoos could google up was one (or two) each?

Going out on a limb here, but I bet y'all haven't heard any of these nor could you name one of their songs, excepting Elton John, Adele and Burt Reynolds.

Kreator and Destruction were well known in the underground metal scene in the 80s. Not pop stars.

Hot by Inna and Mr Saxobeat by Alexandra Stan were hits on US edm radio.

Calvin Harris has had a few mainstream hits stateside.

The Prodigy were definately big in America in the 90s.

Tiesto plays to sellout crowds now stateside.

Avicii did too before he took his own life.

Well in our defense, you really weren’t very clear on that. For someone who is usually very well written and eloquent, you seem to be slipping. And the subject matter seems a little odd for you too. You doing alright buddy?

Ha! Actually, I....nah, I'm doing great...above ground and vertical!

You are correct. I was not very clear...just the ponderings of a brain fogged mind.

My grandpa wouldn't have liked them either. Lol.
