What an excellent project choice! Not sure I would have thought of it but nothing is sadder to see than neglected cemeteries. And congratulations to your son for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. I have personally seen instances where this title has benefited a young man in terms of networking and even getting a job.
Like casting loaves upon the water, I think his efforts will pay him back ten fold.
I built planter boxes, that were handicap accessible for a retirement home. Getting the materials donated was the hardest part. The deal in my family was that I had to get my Eagle, before I could get my drivers license. My brother and I both got it done before we were 16.
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately...
I fought with my parents all through HS for not letting me quit scouts. I Eagled and now years removed I look back and definitely appreciate my time in Scouts. Troop 108. My maternal grandfather got to claim/brag all(4) of his grandsons were Eagles.
