Traditional FSC Week 34

[Briar Friar]

Target: Staying with a 4” equilateral flagged triangle perpendicular to shooter…no quartering. Aim point is flagged triangle point.
Days: 3 days one shot per day…first shot of day
Distance: 7 yards, 14 yards and 21 yards any order any day
Position: any
Intent: Strike the flagged point. Take first shot of day at any of the three given distances on any given day desired…not necessarily in descending or ascending order of distance…but only one shot per each distance.
Measurement: Measure all shots… inside triangle and outside triangle. Measure from edge of shaft the flagged tip.
Measurement kicker:
- Dead on strike is zero
- Strikes inside triangle…measurements are halved 1/2”=1/4”.
- Strikes outside triangle…measurements are doubled 1/2”=1”.
- Line riders count as inside measurement (halved) if half the shaft is deemed by shooter on or inside line.
- If more than half of shaft of line rider is outside triangle line then the measurement is straight up measure…1/2” is 1/2”.
Winner: lowest total (combined) measurement of three days shots
Tiebreaker: closest measure at 21 yards

Kiddos shoot from 3 yards, 6 yards and 9 yards.

Day 2 Total: 4 3/8”

Day 3 @7 yards: 3 1/4”<= 1 5/8” outside
Same hole as 21 yd but 1/4” closer. Pic didnt take at target like I thought. Kiddos were in the shower and I was hot to trot for bedtime…and getting on target before nightfall.

Final Total: 7 5/8”
