New String
No time to order a new string 5 days ago and had to make a new one. The one I had just made had 18 strands of Fast Flight with two strands of padding in the loop. It popped out of the narrow string groove because of its thickness. Dropped down to 16 strands morning four days ago to try and tag a Buck chasing Does in my yard. Unlikely scenario and all: my front yard, new string, nine point four year old, and first deer trying to arrow after 25 years. Anyway, he came out, and I watched him for ten minutes not 18 yards away. A Doe busted me and he was gone. Two days later his twin almost, 8 points, and same scenario. I am standing in my carport with the Buck eating a little corn and two fawns keeping watch. Busted by the fawns this time. Got my "HIDE" set up and they haven't showed up for two days. Pictures when I get my first five posts logged. Learn to make your own string via Rick Barbee and you to can make a string the morning of the hunt.
