Yesterday evening I had a few extra hours to hunt. Decided to run out to the lease and just sit in a box blind over feeder. Wasn’t really expecting to see much but wind was just right and I haven’t sat in a few weeks so I just wanted to get out. Feeder went off and wasn’t long and this 10 point came out straight for feeder. I haven’t seen this buck live all season but was on my hit list. Grabbed the bow, drew back, made a good shot, he dropped in his tracks, NO spine shot. He was still moving a tad so I sent another one and that one would finish him off. He weighed 140lbs dressed, 138 4/8”, 37.5 ranch score. Very good deer, low fence, no protein, and many memories made.
