The other thread got closed for some reason unknown to me but it's time to kick off the next one...
Heith, Gilbert, and Kade rolled up top yesterday and I'll let Heith share the pics of their last 18 hours or so... Clay is behind me hauling the base for one of the 2 stands that I'm bringing up and Tim is in route from Alaska. Some of y'all may remember when Tim made an invite to TBH to come bear hunting in Alaska in 2012 and I graciously accepted and had the experience of 10 lifetimes. Well it's only taken me 9 years to do it bit I'm trying to pay that back now. Tim is trying to arrow a P&Y buck and mine and Clay's goal is to break a doe's ribs with the ol recurve. Clay is a hell of a shot, I'm glad I have a lot of arrows and my compound for a back up. We're between Wichita Falls and Vernon with the hammer down. With any luck at all we'll be there in time to hunt this evening. Stay tuned and I'll update as I can.
