Default Elton John

We saw Elton John Perform last night. Easily the best concert I've attended. I've seen every major country singer of the 90s. I heart music fest etc. Nothing compared to Elton's talent. 75 yrs old and recently, (the day before) tested negative for covid. He apologized for his voice. He didn't need to apologize. No one would have known!

Of all the dog **** music out there that people pay money to hear, I wouldn’t have any problem admitting the Elton John puts on a great show. Not my cup of tea, but that’s a talented dude.

I always respected him till I met him. Years ago when I working as a chef in a luxury hotel, We did a private/ vip function, where I was backstage with him and we were waiting to make an entrance into the room… I was talking to him and he was the biggest ****** bag- I totally lost all respect for him as a human being after that.

Lol. My wife. She enjoys Elton's music. This was part of her birthday gift. I will admit. She has introduced me to music I typically would never listen to. Mostly 70s. Guess that's what happens when you marry a Cougar!!

I heard that Big Wang was going to be at the concert too. Something about being a Wang Bang Thankya Kinda Thang after the show.

Must be some kind of after show massage promotion he/she is offering. Heck if I know.

I switch back and forth from channel 7 70’s rock and channel 26 Classic vinyl on Syrius radio while I have my free trial. Too much Elton John, too much Freddie Mercury. All the stuff they could play and they repeat this every 24hrs…NOT FOR ME !

I went to see in Dallas in'73; The Yellow Brick Road was the main menu with previous songs added.
It was a GREAT show.
It was before the cat was out of the bag. Doesn't mean his music went to crap because of it.
I just haven't cared for much of his music since the YBR album. Caribou and since just wasn't good to me.

I would like to see him in concert. I graduated HS in 74’ and “Madman Across the Water”, “Honky Chateau” and “Yellow Brick Road” were essential albums in the sound track of that era.

Took my wife to see him and Billy Joel in the early 90s when we lived in the Dallas area. Can’t remember the venue it was at. Joel was hocking up chunks of lung most of the night so Elton definitely outperformed him. Great concert.

Are you an alcoholic if you listen to Hank Williams? or George Jones?
Are you a pot head if you listen to Willie?
Are you a convict if you listen to Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, David Allan Coe?

Listening to entertaining does not determine your sexual preferences.

To clear the muddy waters. I am one of those people that are confident in my beliefs. If your beliefs differ from mine. Cool. None of my business. If your character is questionable, I will judge that. I guarantee there are TBH members you single handedly targeted. I am not one. But, I do not condemn them or shame them. Live YOUR life.

Back to heterosexual terms. Which I believe you fully support. Some of us Heterosexual guys love a short thick, cellulite lady. Some of us love tall slender blondes. Some of us enjoy big fake airbags.

At the end of the day. WE all love what we love. Not one person should judge what we enjoy. What we love. That is not our job as humans.

I hope this statement. (That I did not proof read) de rails a concert of a lifetime.

A musical Era long forgotten.

I enjoy music from all those mentioned. I appreciate your insight.

All of those artist created great music. I also believe at least once. I will not mention. Made music I enjoy. And music I will never listen to. He is creative. Great vocals. Makes great artist. Music is art. I separate my beliefs from entertainment.

I was working for a pharma company that had a meeting in Vegas. They sent us his show. I only knew he was gay and I wasn’t excited about it. It was actually a great show. I’d probably go back and watch it again.

Was this at Texas Stadium? I saw that show and it was easily one of the best concerts I’ve seen. Both were awesome especially when they covered each other’s songs.

They aren’t in my top picks for music but was an amazing show.
