Amazon AA batteries - What's the difference?

Difference between their industrial and AmazonBasic AA batteries?

When I google it says industrial last longer and have more shelf life.

Amazon shows 5 year shelf life on industrial and 10 year for Basic LOL. Any clue if one is better than the other.

I use a lot of AA for trail cameras and my IR scope. Industrial are cheaper because one can buy a 300 pack.

Stay away from Duracell batteries. They have cost me over $1000 worth of equipment from their leaking POS batteries.

According to Consumer Reports, these two AA batteries scored equally high, out-scoring all others:

          Duracell Quantum Alkaline
          Energizer Ultimate Lithium

I'm not looking for the longest lasting battery. Looking for the best value battery.

Duracell is over 3x the price of the Amazon batteries. I can't see it lasting 3x longer. Maybe not even 2x longer.

I use regular alkaline Energizers from Amazon or Sam’s.

I've used the Amazon Basics with great results in my cellular cameras. They are frequently unavailable. The Amazons are better than Costco/Energizer/Rayovac.

Check out project farm on YouTube they based it on use per dollar. Energizer max was the longest lasting per dollar.

I quit using them too. They leak in everything.

The best value are lithium’s. Buy once a year. Cry once a year. I get 5-6 x the life (# of photos) compared to regular batteries.
