His body tells me he’s young. I personally like the crab claw look. I killed a 4 year old one last season just because I wanted a crab claw buck. On this buck I would pass on him because of his age.

I watched a young 10 for 3 years, he always had a crab claw his whole life. When I finally took him he scored 160s.

I don’t see any reason to kill that deer this year. I would just be on the look out for him the next few years and track his progression. If there’s not much improvement , then I’d consider it, but I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised what some age on him will do.
