    Mathews Halon 32

I have a Mathews Halon 32 that I haven’t shot in 3 years. Probably has 200-300 arrows total thru it. I’m wanting to get back into bow hunting this year with my oldest boy turning 12. It’s been in an unconditioned storage in a sealed hardcase the whole time. Am I good to start shooting it if there is no obvious issues? Should I change string or cables? I’ve bow hunted my whole life until my bows started rifle hunting. I’ve never let one sit without using and just want some opinions.

Wax the string good and you will be good to go

Wouldn’t hurt to take it to the shop and have them look it over

I would take it to a shop and have it looked at and tune it if deemed necessary!
But I'd bet they say she's good to go!

I'd say to wax the string as well and I would add I would want to cycle the bow through a drawboard a few times as well just to watch it through the draw cycle.
