        This I agree with.

        The reality is even if you wanted night vision, it would be extremely hard to find a night vision weapons sight that would stand up to the recall impulse of the 270 round

          Excuse my ignorance but does the .270 project more recoil than a .308? I'm asking this because I've seen plenty of .308 rifles topped with NV and they seem to hold their own. I'm just trying to make use of my .270 that just sits in the safe versus buying another rifle.

              Thermal is the way to go. Prices aren’t cheap. $2k is a cheap starter scope
