    Wagyu Beef

It’s a Wagyu kind of night. Grabbed a tenderloin cut from H-E-B! Cooked to perfection with the sous vide with a side of shrimp.

How was the taste? Only had it once and was the most tender steak I have ever had. We also had prime ribeye and though not melt in your mouth like wagyu I preffered the prime taste wise. May not have been the greatest wagyu as it came from trenton tx. But it sure was tender and would never turn it down.

Waygu is the bomb, we eat it about 3 times a week. Tonight it was a 3lb roast, cooked 3 1/2 hours at 137 degrees in a steam oven then seared. Perfect!

Sous vide at 124 for an hour then seared in a skillet.

Never can go wrong with Waygu!

It’s nice that HEB has started carrying it more often!

Looks good. Wife and I really can not tell the difference between Wagu and grass fed 45 day aged beef.
                            My wallet notices the difference...................

Is that America wagyu? Or the real deal Japanese wagyu?
