    Gooseneck options ???

Everyone run B&W's or are their other options?

    Curt (sp) ???

I find their ball & safety hooks but not the whole system.

Wondering if they are cheaper than BW's $900 and where's an installer.

    Thanks, D.

I went to a local fabrication shop and had one made. It was less than half the price of B&W installed.
Of course the ball is not a hideaway but then again, none of my GN balls have ever been hideaways so it doesn’t bother me.

So Curt is higher than BW ? Who knew, lol.

No idea where an installer is for Draw time.

Might as well pay the $850 for BW installed. Installers all around here.

        Thanks!

And.... I want the hide away.

I've always ran B&W. I paid $650 for mine installed from Stephenville Trailers about 2 years ago. I'm sure the price has gone up since.

A lot of guys order the trucks with the factory puck systems. Once you buy the ball/hook, and the puck system, you end up spending a lot more.

The B&W really is not hard to install. Depending on what they want for installation and what tools you have access to

I have a BW and Curt. BW all the way. Only reason i had this curt is because it came in the truck. I dont care for it near as much.

Also there are always used BW 5th wheels etc for sale. I never see Curt stuff.

B&W took me about 3 hrs to install in a new F250. Wasn't bad at all and sure not worth the $450 they wanted to install it.

I’ve only installed one but yes $200-$250 for installation to screw in 8 screws and drill a big hole is definitely not worth it. Took me about 2 hours working by myself on a ram 2500.
