What the heck happened here?

Anyone seen a pig with a snout like this before? It's a good 2" shorter than it should be. Had to have been hard to pick up a corn kernel with that! Dang, come to think of it, maybe we should've left it alone to propagate the species that way!!! What's your theory on it?

All kinds of situations but he overcame and flourished. All are just guesses. Dogs, fence injury, shot, predator, could have been born that way.

My buddies shot this one out of the chopper 2 years ago down in Carrizo. Said it was getting along just fine. Said even from the air for the first minute or two they had no idea what it was.

Is that bucks nose also swollen, or is that just the camera angle? Looks huge! My first thought would be he tore his bottom lip loose trying to get out of a pig trap. I’ve seen that happen.

My first good archery buck was like that, lip peeled back a good 3" on the bottom jaw with white bone showing.
