I Need Some Whiskey Advice

Ok guys I always mix Crown and Sprite as my drink of choice during deer season, but I'm looking for a change this year. What is another good whiskey to mix with, what are combos yall like?

If I can't get it, the I go with Crown and Sprite... A little sweeter is always been a plus for me.

I typically drink mine straight (swapping between Crown Royal and Maker's Mark) but when a shop owner suggested Buffalo Trace I found it really needs mixed.
I have also developed a recent liking to Gentleman Jack.

I once read that the lack of sugars (in diet coke) enhances the bourbon flavor.

Try using crown in bloody mary mixes and margaritas. It tastes great and is smoother.
