Sorry for ur pain. Sucks big time. Can get a sniper 360 crossbow for 300 bucks. My son in law hogslayer78 got one for my daughter and grandson. They shoot great and are bada#! Daughter shot a doe and a pig with hers and won't shoot her gun anymore. She loves it. Grandson got his first deer with his. Can get a cranking cocking mechanism to put on it. Get the surgery done asap if have to and start to healin. Takes longer to heal when ya get older. I know all about that. Praying for ya

Fellas, I'm in the medical field, take it from me...Go see a ortho ASAP.
That's a injury you dont want to delay delay treatment or surgery.

Get a MRI and get it fixed if needed.

Solid advice.
My Dad was working in Croatia and tore his bicep.
Took him a month to get back to the states and see a specialist.
Muscle had atrophied to the point that reattachment wasn’t possible.

Dang Jeff if you can pull your bow and shoot it, but can't pull the bullets out of the target, crank it up and get pass throughs, problem solved. All kidding aside, do whatever the Dr. recommends. Get fixed before these Fallows shed.

My buddy just had this same thing happen to him. He ended up having surgery and is back to work. Think it took him around a month to recover from it.

Doc looked at arm and said he wants to operate on it Wednesday, but I have to wait for the insurance to approve the surgery. Said they drill an 1/8 hole in one of my forearm bones and install a hook, then they fasten the tendon to the hook.

Could take up to 3 months to heal, told him I aint got three months.

He did say that I aint supposed to be pulling a bow back after the surgery, so y'all better not make fun of me if I start dragging a crossbow around.

I had a TBH'er fill my feeders and do some chores for me yesterday. I tried to give him 5 dollars and a cold can of Lone Star Beer for 4 hours labor and listening to my stories. He would not have none of it , not even the beer.
