Natural selection!

Driving around the ranch checking feeders and sight seeing. We went up this road and 30 minutes later came back down to see 2 whitetail bucks laying right beside the road. First thought was someone shot them and hearing me coming back ram and left them.
After looking closer we figured out that they had been fighting and fell off of a 40’+ cliff to the solid rock creek bottom.



I guess I’m not supposed to grow big deer on Growing Rocks Ranch![emoji35]

Racks were shattered pretty bad. Pieces were located up to 30’ away from where they hit!
